Bend

Yesterday we got back from Bend, my mom had to take photos there so we took a little vacation. We stayed three nights. My favorite thing that we did was river rafting because I hadn't done it before in a inner tube. The trip was extremely fun.
This is a picture of me running through the rainbow in the sprinkler at Smith Rock. At the end of a very hot hike it felt amazing.

I have been busy!

The past few weeks have been really busy...

I've done fiddle camp, my birthday,Kung fu and tennis camp, that is 4 things, I'm tired. They were really fun. An ice cream truck came to my birthday party, I loved it. Now I'm doing horseback riding. I hope it is fun. Today, my mom and I went fishing and it ended up being a bit of a disaster because my dog Laakee got caught in a line and another dog got tangled in the hook. So, I learned never take a dog on a fishing trip!

Mt Tabor

Yesterday I went to Mt Tabor park and swung on a rope swing. We had to test all the sticks and 3 broke. We go almost every day because we live 2 blocks away from the park. Later we went to the bike races, when we got home we were exhausted, very exhausted.

4th of July!

We went to a rodeo on the 4th of July in a town called Kayenta. They did Bull Riding first. It is nothing like you have ever seen. They get thrown around like a baseball! Sometimes the bulls charge the rider. My favorite event is Steer Wrestling. I really liked it.

The Canyon

This is a part of a canyon in Arizona called Canyon De Chelly. It used to be a National Park but now it is not. There is a trail that leads down to the White House Ruins. It is a long way down and the same amount of the way up. Going downhill is easy but going up is very hard. After we got back up we got some water because we were SOOOOO thirsty.

Later... I stepped on a goat head.

Tonight, we are going to see a rodeo in Chinle.

Hi, Welcome to my blog, RESERVATIONS! My blog is about my summer in between 3rd and 4th grade. This is ME, a little past sunset out on the Navajo Reservation in Arizona. We were walking on a mesa and I ran up onto a mini-mountain and climbed up to the very top, TWICE! We are visiting the reservation because my mom is taking photos for a childrens' book about rodeo.
